who are you \\ what do you do \\ and what the hell is that for a name
first things first: that name has nothing at all to do with female anatomy! it's just like: you know what a pussycat is? yeah. a cute little cat. and we - we are cute as fuck, but more in a, well... let's say nocturnal way. so a cat isn't the right animal to describe us. a bat suits better. hanging around the whole day sleeping and rocking out after sunset. pussybats. got it?
and now, the basics. we're four guys making noise.
mike,
drums.
roy, guitar.
sid,
vocals.
marple, bass.
we're a rock'n'roll band. if you'd ask us, we'd call our sytle alternative rock,
but you are just one click on the top of that very page away from finding out
for yourself, so why should you do so? instead of forcing us to write the usual
hollow phrases about rocking guitar riffs, pumping basslines or charismatic and
highly emotional vocals, just give us two minutes of your precious time to convince
you that we're the best band you've ever heard. or at least that we're worth your love. and - even more imprortant - your money.
which leads directly to the next thing: our album. it's called 'famous last songs'. how does it sound? move your mouse about four hundred pixels up and you'll know. apart from that, some things that might be of interest concerning this: the record has been produced by chai deveraux (jesus on extasy) and hahn and hahn (known for their work with nena, kim wilde, farmer boys, pur). it contains 11 tracks from goodbye kiss to kick in the ass - most of them even with guitars in it. anyone of these is worth to die for, anyone of these could be a 'famous last song'. so if you look for a record to rock out to, to love to, to make love to, to cry to - here it is. give it a listen. and then go buy this shit!
do you still want to know more? we came together in 2006. we won one of europe's biggest underground contests for the so-called 'dark' music scene, the sonic seducer battle of the bands, in 2006. we got our record deal with black rain records straight after our performance at the wave gothic treffen in 2007. of course we love to play shows - what else is there to do for rockers? so we did, with the ones like the 69 eyes, subway to sally, tanzwut, front 242 and many more. and now, in 2009, here we are. ready to take the world by storm. ready for our spot in the light. let the show begin!
